About PantryFinder

PantryFinder is a free, ad-supported directory of food pantries, food banks, and federal nutrition program guides for households in the United States. We were built to be a single, calm, easy-to-navigate landing place when someone you love asks "where can I get food this week?"

What we do

We maintain a searchable directory of over 500 verified food pantry locations across all 50 states and the District of Columbia, organized by state and city. Every listing includes the pantry's name, address, phone number where available, and notes on hours and eligibility. We also publish in-depth, plain-English guides to the major federal food assistance programs — SNAP, WIC, school meals, Summer Food, TEFAP, CSFP, CACFP, and FDPIR — so that families can understand what they qualify for and how to apply.

What we are not

We are not a food bank ourselves. We do not distribute food, take applications, or coordinate volunteers. We are not affiliated with the USDA, Feeding America, or any single religious or political organization. We are an independent informational resource. If you need help today, please dial 2-1-1 or use our same-day help guide.

Where our data comes from

Pantry listings are aggregated from publicly available sources, including FoodPantries.org and other open directories. Federal program guides are written from primary documentation published by USDA Food and Nutrition Service and state human-services agencies. We update the directory periodically; if you spot a closed location or out-of-date hours, please let us know via the contact page.

How we are funded

The site is supported by display advertising. We do not sell user data, we do not require registration, and we do not place ads inside or on top of the listings themselves — only in clearly marked ad slots in the page header, sidebar and footer.
