Always call ahead before you visit. If you are travelling more than a few miles to reach a listed pantry, confirm by phone first that they are open and serving on the day you plan to arrive.

The program guides on this site are written from public USDA and state agency documentation, and are accurate to the best of our knowledge as of publication. Federal benefit amounts, income limits and rules change every year — usually in October — and states have wide discretion in how programs are implemented.
